1. Information We Collect

Yippie Golf ("Yippie," "we," "us") collects the following information when you use our iOS app and website:

Account information (email, name) when you sign up
Swing video recordings captured during practice sessions
Device and usage analytics to improve the app experience
Subscription and payment information processed through Apple

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Provide AI-powered swing analysis and coaching feedback
Improve our biomechanical analysis algorithms
Send you session summaries and training recommendations
Process subscriptions and provide customer support

3. Data Storage & Security

Your swing data is stored securely using Google Cloud/Firebase infrastructure. Video recordings are processed for analysis and stored in your account. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest.

4. AI Processing with Google Gemini

Yippie's coaching feedback and drill generation are produced by Google's Gemini large language model. Here's exactly what gets sent and what doesn't:

Sent to Gemini: processed swing analysis — pose keypoint coordinates, joint angles, impact timing, phase labels, and a short text description of the drill you're requesting. This data does not include your name, email, or Yippie user ID.
Not sent to Gemini: your swing video, your audio, your account identifiers, your location, or any personal contact information.
Route: requests flow through our own Cloud Function proxy before reaching Google, so your API access is authenticated to Yippie rather than directly to Google.
Retention: Google's Gemini API may retain requests per their own policy (see Google's Gemini API terms). Yippie does not retain copies of the Gemini request/response beyond what is needed to deliver the feedback to you in-app.

5. Other Third-Party Services

Beyond Gemini, we use:

Firebase (authentication, database, storage, analytics)
RevenueCat + Apple App Store (subscription management)
AppsFlyer and Meta/Facebook (install attribution and ad measurement)
Statsig (feature flags and A/B tests)
Superwall (paywall presentation)
Google Sign-In (optional sign-in method)

Each of these is used only to operate the service they're named for. We do not sell your personal information. California residents can exercise CCPA opt-out rights at Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.

6. Your Rights

You can delete your account and all associated data directly in the iOS app: Profile → Settings → Delete Account. This removes your Firebase Authentication record, Firestore documents, swing data, and related CRM contact records. You can also request deletion, export, correction, or access by emailing privacy@yippiegolf.com. We respond within 45 days in line with GDPR and CCPA timelines.
